Introduction blog.

Thank you Marc. Happy to be part of this neat group. This is Valda. I am my children's mother and then I'm a counsellor by training and practice. I currently work as a community social service worker with youth aged 13-30 years.

Welcome to the Class

Hello class! Welcome to our class blog.

Some of you may have used blogs before, but for others this will be a new experience.

During the course, each student will be responsible for maintaining the blog. This task will include:

• posting one interesting thought or teaching tip for the class;
• posting one website reference to share with the class; and
• moderating all content posted.

So as we take turns posting cool resources, the goal is for everyone to participate in commenting on these resources and sharing further. 

The student in charge of the blog each week will "moderate" these comments and offer support. 

Don't worry, I'll be with you the entire time and will help as needed. 

Finally, you have an initial assignment, once you are on the blog: post a picture of yourself and introduce yourself in the blog to everyone else.
