For Your Portfolios....

Hi all. Please make sure you check with me regarding meeting for the mandatory portfolio interview. Remember that it's your responsibility to email/contact me to set that appointment up.

In the portfolio, there should be the following class assignments:

• Manners of Articulation chart
• 2 pronunciation assessments
• Journal: "life is like a box of chocolates"
• Descriptive writing piece on your house
• at home essay (5 paragraphs)
• any lesson plans from your practicum 

I think that's it. But if I've missed something, please let me know. I'm going off my memory at this point. 

And when we meet I can go over your quiz. Everyone did very well though. You were awesome.

Volunteer Needed for Friday Mornings

Hi All,

I hope everyone is well. I miss seeing you all!

I wanted to share a unique opportunity that has come to my attention today. Burnaby Continuing Education is looking for a volunteer (or two) to help Friday mornings for an ESL class. It's a mixed group so extra volunteer teachers would be greatly appreciated.

If you are interested, I can put you in touch with the coordinator, Linda Ohashi, and you can get set up.
